So what is it?

The Digital Movie Creator is a digital camcorder designed for use by children. It can record up to 4 minutes of video at 320x240 resolution at around 15 frames per second. The recorded video can then be transferred to a PC using a convenient USB port. Once transferred kids can use included software to edit and enhance their videos. Touted as a toy the Digital Movie Creator is for children of all ages. Capture up to 2 000 snapshots or up to four minutes of video (at up to 15 fps motion). Digital Blue Digital Movie Creator invites children to direct film star in and edit their own movies.

* Video frame rate 15fps (tethered to PC); 10fps (un-tethered)

* Audio sampling rate 22kHz @ 16bits (tethered to PC); 8kHz @ 8bits (un-tethered, normal quality); 12kHz @ 8bits (un-tethered, high quality)

* Memory 8MB SDRAM

* Approx number of stored images 300 High quality; 1000 Normal quality

* Approx minutes of stored video 1 minute (high quality); 4 minutes (normal quality)

* Field of view 41 degrees horizontal, 34 degrees vertical

* Dimensions (mm) Length: 105, width: 68, height: 182

* Batteries 4 AAA batteries required for un-tethered operation

I believe that this simple device is the one that will break through the wireless hand-free market-it's that good. And even better, it fits on all mobile phones, from cellular to PCS. This is the one I personally use on my cell phone, and out of all I've tested, it's the best. It's handier, has a stronger antenna and better reception. You can talk from anywhere inside the car, so if you've got your vice president or your marketing man in the back seat, they can join in the conversation too. A small mike fits inside the wireless unit; a light goes on when you open the clip and "bite it" onto your cell phone. It's so easy to use-first you dial the number you want to call, press the button on your radio you've preset to an open station (88.7), clip the wireless unit onto your cell phone or it's flip top, and you'll hear your caller's voice clearly and distinctly over the radio. The magnetic cell phone holder is an option--place it on your car's console near the radio, if you like. Nothing could be handier, give you a stronger antenna or better reception.

I like this, it must be one of the only remote controls I've never been able to loose and at about $10 you can't go wrong.
